Please contact us for further information about Dr Seaton's consultation fees and prices. We are always happy to advise on costs associated with treatments.

NB Additional costs for treatment room fees and histology may apply. The room fee is set by and the responsibility of the hospital. As a guide, for a consultation either no fee or a fee of approximately £35 may be charged depending on the institution. The hospital fee for a procedure varies depending on procedure type and is generally in the region of £50-170 but may be more for major procedures (e.g. Mohs surgery). If you heave health insurance your insurer will generally cover hospital fees. Dr Seaton is a BUPA Partner Consultant and his procedure fees are based on BUPA scheduled codes and rates.

Private Medical Insurance Fees
If you have health insurance, Dr Seaton's practice will be happy to invoice your insurance company directly for consultations and procedures. We suggest that you keep your insurance company fully informed about your appointments and proposed treatments and obtain pre-authorisation before procedures are performed.
Fees charged for insured patients vary according to individual insurance companies and depend on procedure codes developed by the private medical insurance industry (BUPA scheduled codes).
Please note that some health insurance policies stipulate an excess or provide cover to only a certain fee level. In this case the patient is responsible for the paying the outstanding amount. Some companies (especially AxaPPP Healthcare) will only authorise treatment after completion of a claim form. Whilst treatment may be possible on the same day as the consultation, it may be necessary to delay treatment until authorisation is obtained. This ensures that you are fully covered for your treatment and helps avoid any unexpected shortfalls.
